PERSONAL STORY
THE STORY BEHIND THE FRAME.
Growing up, I was never the person in front of the camera. I was quiet, observant and more comfortable watching than being watched. But behind the camera, something changed. It became a way to express ideas, shape stories and turn feeling into something visual.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. Drawing, writing, building and experimenting were the first ways I learned to translate thoughts into something tangible. Over time, that curiosity developed into a stronger focus on photography, video and visual storytelling.
Sport has always been close to me as well. After earning my HAVO diploma, I started studying SportMarketing & Management, where I discovered how creativity, communication and sport could come together. During my studies, I found my direction in content creation and started developing my skills in Adobe software, editing, branding and visual communication.
That path eventually led me to NAC Breda. What started as an internship became a place where I could grow as a maker, combining my love for football with my passion for content. From campaign visuals and video edits to photography and storytelling, the club gave me the space to sharpen my eye and understand the role content can play in building emotion, identity and connection.
Branding became an important part of that development. I became interested in how content can strengthen the way a brand is seen, felt and remembered. During my minor in Branding at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, I deepened that perspective and learned to approach creative work with more strategy, structure and intention.
In my final year, I returned to NAC Breda for my graduation internship. I completed research on matchday and content needs through modern supporter segmentation and experienced the club’s promotion to the Eredivisie from up close. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Honours Degree, I joined NAC Breda as a Content Creator.
Today, I continue to create content with a calm eye, a sharp sense of detail and a strategic approach. My work is shaped by quality, clarity and meaning, whether it is a campaign, a matchday moment or a visual story built around sport, culture and branding.
